  • Abstract
    We report on DFB MQW light-emitting devices with one- and two-dimensional air/semiconductor gratings inside a semiconductor. After demonstrating a CW oscillation of a 1D device, we show a very unique properties of 2D device which reflects the photonic band characteristic.
