Is offered and is experimentally investigated thermal and mechanical way of obtaining of dry timber. It is process mating an evaporation from a volume of an arboreal sample on its surface of a moisture under effect of a field of a very high frequency and subsequent cutting off the surface layer, keeping a moisture. Thus the drying is eliminated and is reduced costs of time and energy to obtaining of dry timber from 4 up to 6 times.
