Under the circumstance of current international financial downturn, most of the storage-based logistics companies are facing difficult business. Based on business model of storage-based logistics companies, this paper first analyses the traditional operation mode of storage-based logistics enterprises, and then, put focuses on the spot trading mode and electronic trading mode of them. Besides analysis of the main features of spot transactions and electronic transactions, flow charts of the spot transactions and electronic transactions are also given. Finally, by comparison with other trading patterns, the article sum up unique advantages of these two kinds of trading patterns.
