Analysis of Family Support for the Elderly Based on Overlapping Generations Model

In the global context of population aging, pension arrangements in many countries are facing different degrees of impact. In this paper, using analysis paradigm of mainstream economics, the way of china´s traditional pension were analyzed and characterized deeply, including the aspects of macroeconomic analysis and micro-economic foundations of family pension. Through the analysis, the author hope that interdisciplinary analysis for the family pension can provide a possible breakthrough direction to solve the problem of population aging, and also hope that more in-depth economic analysis for the family pension can urge the family pension to shine more bright vitality.
