Abstract :
An analytical expression for the negative ion cross distribution in the plasma diffusion regime of a positive pillar has been proposed. As shown, with reduction of discharge-tube diameter (electron temperature growing), relative negative ion concentration decreases; this may be used for creation of magnetic field transformers.
