Abstract :
This paper investigates the possibility of enhancing the performances of shaped reflectors through the addition of properly modulated metasurfaces. To this end, the surface impedance layout is designed by means of a PO-based optimization procedure. The desired impedance profile is synthetized through a patterned metallic cladding printed on a dielectric substrate.
