Abstract :
In this research, a generalized nonuniform finite difference time-domain (NU-FDTD) Maxwell´s solver has been developed using a memory-saving technique, the MFC class templates. The dynamic sizing property of the MFC array classes is integrated to the solver such that there is more memory flexibility in handling complicated structures. The algorithm is validated with a number of representative guided-wave structures and antennas with satisfactory improvement in computational efficiency
