Abstract
In this paper we present a measurement technique for evaluation of antenna systems in car-to-infrastructure communication systems. The focus of this work was on small and cheap measurement devices that can be placed at different positions in a car or motorbike. With the new measurement process multiple antennas were evaluated simultaneously using a bandwidth of 20 MHz. That is, propagation characteristics for broadband communication like, for example, LTE communication can be analyzed. Antennas at several positions of a car were examined separately as well as by using maximum ratio combining.
