Title :
Simulation on Sensitivity of Initial Value in Rayleigh-Benard Convection
Abstract :
Rayleigh-Benard convection model is established for simulating two-dimensional stable flow field with different Benard cells. In the flows with different number of Benard cells, respectively, the positive and negative Benard flows are used as initial values in the numerical simulations which are in the same experimental conditions. Results confirm that different initial values have no effect on the formation of stable Benard cells. This study is a successful application of numerical simulation in the issue of Benard.
