Abstract :
An analysis is carried out to determine the discontinuity susceptibility of a circular or rectangular aperture in the transverse plane of a circular waveguide. A closed-form solution that shows good agreement with experimental results is derived. The results should have many applications in the design of circular waveguide components and cylindrical cavity-backed phased arrays.<>
