Abstract
An innovative compressive sensing (CS) technique is proposed for microwave imaging non-sparse scatterers under Born Approximation. Toward this end, the microwave imaging problem is reformulated within the Total Variation paradigm, and an Augmented Lagrangian Functional is deduces which encodes the a-priori knowledge of the stepwise nature of the contrast profiles at hand. Preliminary numerical examples are reported to assess the features of the proposed methodology.
