Analysis of Economical Benefit of Low Permeability Oil Reservoir Development under Different Well Patterns

Development of low permeability oil reservoir is a very important in the petroleum engineering, especially for China. Adopting different well pattern, the economic benefit is different. What is the relationship between well pattern and development result? In this paper, the author described the characteristic of low permeability reservoir development, given the economic benefit calculation method. Through a sample study, the relationship between well pattern and development economical benefit was studied, and given the optimization scheme. The results can provide theoretical guidance to low permeability development design.
