Abstract :
A multi-band reflectarray structure that transmits and receives at both Ka- and X-bands is introduced in this paper. A separate reflectarray is designed for each band and a frequency selective surface (FSS) is used as the ground plane for the Ka-band reflectarray. Additional FSS´s are implemented to further enhance the isolation between bands. The reflectarrays also implement a circular to linear polarized transformation which results in a simplified feed geometry.
