Abstract :
A number of system solutions have been designed to facilitate the people with visual impairment in viewing television, recognizing human faces, indoor objects, street signals and reading texts. In case of visually impaired, Central Field Loss, one sided vision and loss of visual resolution away from the fovea are some of the problems that cause the low vision. Here we propose a low-cost embedded solution on Dual Core platform as an aid for vision impairment. The system is designed to give a better viewing experience for the visually impaired people with low contrast sensitivity. This system is enriched with customizable parameters to have flexibility for different kind of users.
