Abstract :
The computation of the controllability gramian associated with a real polynomial f(s) is considered. It is shown that the inverses of the matrices arising in the Hermite, Lienard-Chipart and Markov criteria can be represented as the controllability gramian of 1/ f(s). The corresponding state-space realizations are also established
