A novel metering solution for the domestic deregulated electricity market

This paper describes a novel electricity meter that provides practical and economic solutions to the many issues resulting from a domestic deregulated electricity market. Further, it shows how the application of modern engineering methods have enabled a multifunctional meter product to be produced at a cost similar to that of traditional single-function metering products, and with a time-to-market considerably shorter than previously achieved in the electricity metering industry
