  • Abstract
Argumentation theory can be used to model legal reasoning, non-monotonic reasoning and many other problems. In this paper a framework of argumentation-based negotiation support is provided. Based on argumentation theory approaches supporting negotiators´ decision processes and their negotiation dialogues are redesigned. Integrating decision support with communication support in the same framework aims to facilitate information sharing between negotiators, improve acceptability of negotiation proposals by providing sound arguments, and realize flexible, robust and explainable negotiation support.
