Preface

Welcome to the second edition of the IEEE sponsored International Conference on Applications and Innovations in Mobile Computing (AIMoC 2015). Mobile computing involves mobile communication, mobile hardware, mobile systems software and mobile applications. There are interesting facets in each of these components. The last decade witnessed development of a myriad of applications and services and the birth of a new model of pervasive computation in the name of cloud computing and internet of things. There has been a steep rise of interest in these domains. Several problems have been solved while new fields of investigation and potential applications have come up with the availability of new hardware and algorithmic tools.
