Abstract :
Realizations of nonlinear systems with symmetries are studied. It is shown that, under standard assumptions, a nonlinear system with local (or global) symmetries has a local (or global) realization which has lower dimension and can easily be constructed. To illustrate the results, the example of the effect of drugs on the transfer of some dissolved matter in the human body is considered
