Abstract :
Incentive mechanism of public servants a way of action and value by which government leads public servants in order to achieve administrative goals, which has vital influence on motivating and encouraging public servants´ enthusiastic and dynamic energy, and increasing efficiency of governmental administration. At present, in incentive mechanism of public servants of China, there exist lots of problems, such as singular means of substance incentive, formalized spirit incentive, unsound administrative culture, ignoring inner incentive roles, indistinctive competition and encouragement, weak ethnic incentive, nonstandard negative motivating operation, incomplete monitoring and restricting systems, improper and dilatory incentive, rigid and formalized incentive ways, and so on. If these problems are solved, the people-oriented idea must be paid attention to, administrative culture built up, scientific salary system established, rewards and punishment of system and management improved, system for position and rank raising and achievements testing system perfected.
