Abstract :
Growing sophistication of users for high speed data and video needs are fueling the need for telecommunication administrations (TAs) to evolve their current circuit switched networks to Broadband Integrated Services Digital Network (B-ISDN). Globally, TAs are evaluating the B-ISDN technology for the existing and new broadband services to satisfy many emerging customer applications.
