Using Visual Basic as programming language, this implementation integrates top-down and bottom-up approaches to develop a project selection decision support system with the following features: (1) it is a general purpose system; (2) it integrates organizational objectives and strategies into the decision processes; (3) it prioritizes the project using separate criterion or a combination of criteria; (4) it supports the selection of project portfolio; and (5) it provides the support for the evaluation of alternative project
