Abstract :
There have been many studies showing that learning to program is really challenging for most students,while a lot of works have been done to improve the effective and efficiency of programming teaching and learning. This paper first reviewed the literature on studies of threshold concepts of computer science, Ontology construction of programming domain, and construction of university course Ontology, then based on these research outcomes, provided a programming course ontology based on threshold concepts of computer science. This research will provide a foundation for the development of Ontology based personalized learning system.
