Abstract :
The goal of this paper is to make a global study about the digital image color processing methods. We focus our analyses to the spectral images, CIE (International commission on illumination) illumination standards, high dynamic range image, color saturation, color brightening and white balancing. We take an image and we test flash and fluorescent illumination, then we make white balancing correction and we compare the results to see the differences. To enhance image contrast we make high dynamic range images using the multiple capture techniques. We propose a method base on varying the bulb light power and we compare this method with gamma method. The analysis can be useful to assist engineers in image quality evaluation.
