Abstract :
The automation of contaminated processes in the pharmaceutical industry is a crucial point of interest for manufacturers. The areas where the active pharmaceutical ingredients are penetrated the entire production room must be secured very careful, to avoid any healthy damage of the employees. Examples for dangerous ingredients in high concentration are insulin and antiplatelet agents (blood thinner). These can be easily absorbed in high concentrations through the human skin. The contaminated persons suffer heavy healthy damages or can even decease. To avoid accidents, the manufacturers have introduced independent systems for process control, video and audio surveillance. This paper describes the alternative to realize a compact monitoring system that unifies all the systems listed above. The concepts uses as hardware industrial web cameras, a wireless table personal computer (PC), a WAGO 750-841 controller from WAGO GmbH [1] and a special designed monitoring PC. The software was developed using Microsoft Visual Studio 5 [2] and VisiWin 6.0 from Inosoft GmbH [3].
