Abstract :
In this paper a design and feed position determination for circular microstrip antenna based on particle swarm optimization (PSO) algorithm are presented. Optimal feed position of circular patch antenna to achieve input impedance matching is obtained by PSO algorithm. The results obtained by PSO algorithm are compared by another optimization algorithm (golden section search) and very good agreement is obtained. The simulation of antenna parameters shows very good results.
