Abstract :
A modified shape for U-slot patch antenna is proposed in this work to give a compact microstrip structure with low cross-polarization effects. Specific design criteria are adopted to accurately synthesize the proposed antenna configuration. Experimental results on different frequency bands are successfully discussed to prove the low cross-polarization feature together with adequate bandwidth percentage between 15% and 20%.
