Abstract :
Summary form only given. In the research and development (R&D) arena, the ability to transfer knowledge quickly and efficiently among groups within the company has become increasingly critical. The author present recent research in this area, which draws upon literature, field interviews, and an on-going academia/industry dialogue, and suggests that this critical knowledge transfer is especially crucial at a small number of key crossroads in the management of technology
