Abstract :
Summary form only as given. The development of Chinese innovation system had long been focused on strengthening R&D institutes. The R&DIs thus played an important role in technology innovation in China. The policy measures for nurturing the growth of innovation networks have now mainly been concentrated on the linkage and cooperation between R&DIs and firms. More attention should be paid to the linkage and cooperation between innovative firms in innovative studies and innovation policy in China
