Abstract :
Summary form only given. Cleaning hue gases from toxic oxides SO/sub 2/ is an important ecological problem. This problem can be solved in a number of ways. One of the ways is the irradiation of flue gases by electron beams. Irradiation of flue gases by pulsed electron beams will permit realizing the chain plasma chemical mechanism of SO/sub 2/ oxidation in an ionized gas. In this report we present the results of experimental study of SO/sub 2/ removal from air by the chain mechanism.
