Abstract :
A novel class of microstrip bandpass/bandstop and periodic couplers and filters is described. Multifunction performance can be obtained from these components due to their directional properties. The design aspects and the predicted results of these circuits are presented. The theory is verified by an experimental bandpass coupler designed on an alumina substrate.<>
