Abstract :
A macroparticle computer model was used to simulate the injection and circulation of a high-intensity beam in the INR (Institute for Nuclear Research) proton storage ring. The substantial influence of space charge field nonlinearity on the stored beam parameters was shown. This influence manifests itself in betatron spectrum of the stored particles. The simulation results have shown that the main modes of the storage ring can be realized with satisfactory parameters of extracted beams
