Abstract :
In this contribution we present the design of a reconfigurable transmit-array with multiple focal sources. Two quadruple-feed configurations (cross and square arrangements) with standard gain horns are considered. The simulation results show a gain of 23.6 dBi for both configurations and a maximum side lobe level (SLL) of -18.4 dB and -17 dB, respectively. We also show the radiation patterns for different tilted beam configurations in H-plane. The proposed design demonstrates a focal distance reduction by a factor of about 2, paving the way for possibilities of integration for this kind of radiating systems over moving platforms for instance.
