Abstract :
During the past ten years research has progressed on the biomedical implantable electronic devices that require power and data communication through an inductive link. In this paper, we describe a novel topology of the inductive link which realizes a full-duplex bi-direction data transmission with only one carrier. Due to this feature, the system power efficiency can be improved significantly through introducing a power control feedback loop. It also improves the controllability and observability of the implant system via the inductive link.
