Education in VLSIC design at the University of Toledo

The authors describe seven courses offered at the University of Toledo. These courses are the framework about which the program in VLSI circuit design is built. Five other courses are named as being in direct support. The authors describe the rationale underlying the choices and detail some tools and resources. They include a brief description of how MOSIS is incorporated into regularly scheduled coursework. A short summary of ongoing research follows. Finally, the authors note student reaction, mention some difficulties, and comment on future plans and hopes
