Abstract
The hierarchical organizational chart (Org Chart) outlines the reporting structure within a group. Instead of using this chart as a tool, it sometimes has become an underlying corporate philosophy creating a rigid and less innovative workplace. In the second half of the 20th Century, the microelectronics industry has brought about technological change at break-neck speed but seemingly approaches organizational and managerial change at a far slower and more conservative rate. At the risk of pushing a popular descriptive phrase to the brink of cliche, perhaps it is time for a paradigm shift. This paper proposes that shift by inverting the ever popular Org Chart following the analogy of a fruitful tree
