Abstract :
In this paper, a novel primary-side control mechanism with current compensation in flyback converters is proposed. The switch voltage and the switch current are sampled to obtain the information of the output voltage and the load current. The close loop feedback control is based on the information of the switch voltage and the switch current. The control circuit can be integrated into an IC chip, which is very attractive in the micro-power applications. The experimental verification is given in the paper to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed primary-side control mechanism with current compensation in micro-power applications. The load regulation performance is improved and the size of the flyback converters is reduced with the proposed solution.
