  • Abstract
Summary form only given. With the advance of multimedia technology, effective ways to support contents creation process in organizations are expected. As one of the essential characteristics of multimedia service is attained by the systematic ability to flexibly create a variety of contents according to different requirements which various consumers have. Thus the support of contents creation process is needed. By making use of strong knowledge bases, inference mechanisms, multimedia functions in computer technology, systematic support for narrative creation process becomes possible. Here, we regard the structure of multimedia contents as a kind of narrative in a broad sense, and we propose a conceptual and fundamental idea on narrative-based contents creation support. We have formalized the mechanisms by artificial intelligence technology. In this case, we don´t think that narrative structure limits the diversity
