Abstract :
This paper discusses the design and stability analysis of negative impedance circuits (NICs). The NIC is used for bandwidth improvement of a monopole antenna. The stability analysis is performed using the Nyquist criterion. We demonstrate that stable negative capacitance is achieved from 10 MHz to 1 GHz.
