Abstract :
We report the longest deployed ultra-long haul unregenerated terrestrial 10 Gb/s DWDM optical network system. Transmission length for 2410 km with typical terrestrial site spacing of 100 km. The system had extensive optical networking capability with 5 in-line sites able to add/drop 100% of the transmission capacity.
