Abstract :
Paper presents results of time and frequency domain investigations of relaxation phenomena occurring in selected high voltage insulation systems. Ageing processes during insulation lifetime result in less or more significant changes of its dielectric properties. Polarization and depolarization currents, voltage response and loss factor measurement methods allow to investigate these changes and to try connecting received results with actual state of tested insulation system. Laboratory measurement results, methods of numerical data evaluating and data fitting for different response functions and equivalent circuit models are presented in the paper.
