Abstract :
A probe-fed printed folded meander line monopole antenna with dual band operation in TV White space and GSM band for machine-to-machine application is presented. The compact antenna operates at 706 MHz and 940 MHz respectively with high efficiency and high gain across the frequency bands. A comparison between a simple printed folded (hairpin) monopole antenna and a printed folded meander line monopole is demonstrated.
