  • Abstract
Space confrontations have become the main assault force of wars in a new form and produced an increasingly important influence on the war process and outcome. Therefore, national military industries and academic community focus on the innovation of space weapons systems. However there is not a recognized innovation mode and the current innovation modes have attracted a lot of controversy. Based on a detailed research in some space weapons systems, the paper offers to a new idea which is with “knowledge” as the main line and adopts knowledge supply chain to study innovation mode of space weapons systems. In light of the thought, we developed a process mode and process flow diagram for space weapon systems innovation. The process is divided into eight parts: innovation task, analysis of stakeholders, knowledge module division, and construction of knowledge supply chain, outsourcing selection, module development, system integration, delivery and promotion.
