Abstract
This paper presents an analysis of a series resonant AC link inverter for improving output current. The new topology mainly consists of an inverter and cycloconverter sections. The resonant current waveform in the topology is simply analyzed by dividing the circuit into three modes. In addition, pulse amplitude modulation (PAM) control for improving output current is proposed. With simulation results, analysis of a series-resonant AC link inverter for improving output current using PAM control is given in detail in this paper
