Comparative Analysis of the Workflow Modeling

The workflow modeling is the basis of workflow management technology, the correctness and performance of the workflow model is the key to determining the success or failure of the workflow management system, this article is based on the research and analysis of the current popular workflow model, Further more, it gives Comparative analysis of workflow model based on Petri nets and workflow model based on UML, and through a case both during the modeling process mapping. And a case study described how to map a UML activity diagram to Petri net model, Finally, the paper gives the workflow simulation of Petri nets.
