Abstract
A MIMO feedback control simulator was developed for a diaphragm-type chlorine/caustic electrolyzer. This is a very sluggish nonlinear process with two controlled outputs and two manipulated inputs being considered. The design methodology is presented. Also presented are a set of workable controller settings resulting from the design. Some simulation results employing these settings are presented and discussed
