Abstract
A method for analyzing the time-domain response of linear transmission line networks is presented. The method, based on the modified nodal admittance (MNA) matrix, unifies the formulation of the network equations including the coupled transmission lines, and terminal and interconnecting networks. It uses numerical inversion of the Laplace transform as an alternative to the FFT (fast Fourier transform) to obtain the time-domain solutions. The advantages of the proposed technique are discussed.<>
