Abstract :
In this paper, a method for localization of unidentified RF sources using power measurements from a network of stationary sensors and a moving sensor is presented. The stationary sensor network is first used to provide initial estimates of the positions of multiple unknown RF sources. Then a moving sensor, guided by the probability distribution of the unidentified source locations, is used to refine the initial estimates and provide more accurate source localization. The method is evaluated in terms of accuracy in estimating the number and position of the unknown sources using Monte Carlo simulation.
