Abstract
In this paper, the process of controller design and development for an advanced unmanned aerial vehicle is described. A design methodology based on H∞ control theory was used to design the controller. The control objectives, the synthesis model and the design results of this project are described. The control strategy was successfully tested using real-time hardware-in-the-loop simulation. The test set up and the real-time simulation results are also described in this paper.
