Abstract :
The importance of corporate social responsibility (CSR) has aroused wide attention of not only the corporation itself, but also the whole society. In 2006, SGCC (State Grid Corporation of China) published its first CSR report, started to make a commitment to social responsibilities. Since then, the five power generation groups published their CSR reports, sustainable development reports, or development performance index respectively. This paper will focus on the efforts that the electricity sector in China takes on CSR fulfillment, especially on employees´ development, analyze the current situation and challenges existing in social responsibilities for employees, discuss the measurements that have been taken and put forward suggestions to it.
